Since the contact period opened up for Juniors on September 1st, there have been 15 players commit to DI programs. Dartmouth has landed the most commitments since the opening of the contact period, landing 15 verbals from 2023s thus far.

On Tuesday evening, Notre Dame and Penn State each received their first verbal commitments since the contact date began, bringing the total number of programs in the ACC and Big Ten who have gotten things underway in the 2023 cycle to three.

Brunswick (Conn.) Andrew Greenspan announced his commitment to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Wednesday. Ranked as the No. 36 player in the class and rated as a four-star by Inside Lacrosse, Greenspan served as the top option at the faceoff dot for a Brunswick squad that went 14-3 this past spring, which included a 9-8 win over Haveford (Pa.) on ESPN where Greenspan not only found success at the dot, but also added an assist.

Greenspan joins the Irish’s 2023 class alongside Culver (Ind.) goalie Colin Vickrey, who has reclassified from the class of 2022.

Penn State received a verbal commitment from Wissahickon (Pa.) attackman Kyle Lehman. The lefty is rated as the No. 8 player in the class and ranted as a five-star by Inside Lacrosse. As a sophomore, Lehman put up 93 points off 65 goals and 28 assists.

Keep with all the 2023 commitments here.
