Key Games
2/19 vs Marquette: The Dolphins home-opener comes against a program in which they have a good bit of history with in the Marquette Golden Eagles. Last playing in 2020, Jacksonville came up victorious, 11-9, to break their four-game losing streak against the Big East program. Marquette holds a 4-3 lead in a series that has seen all but two contests decided by one or two goals.
4/2 vs High Point: The Dolphins and Panthers faces each other in their regular-season finale last season with High Point claiming a 16-11 victory. The two then met a week later in the conference semifinals where the Panthers again won, 11-9 to advance to the SoCon title game. Jacksonville trailed in the all-time series, 9-3, and has failed to beat the Panthers each of their past three meetings.
4/9 vs Richmond: While the Dolphins have come close, most notably falling by one-goal, 11-10, in the 2018 SoCon title game, they have never beaten Richmond in program history with an 0-8 record against the Spiders. Jacksonville lost 14-7 to the Spiders last season. As has been the case in recent years, this game could very well be a preview of a postseason meeting with both the Dolphins and Spiders coming into the season with such aspirations.
