The Binghamton Bearcats are the 13th DI program and second in the America East to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Bearcats are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 5-4 against an America East-only schedule.

Key Games

2/26 @ Lafayette: The Bearcats and Leopards last met in 2020 in a contest that saw Binghamton eek out an 11-10 victory in triple overtime off an Ethan Opdahl game-winner. Their meeting a year earlier in 2019 saw the Leopards come out on top, 13-12, in their final win before entering into a now 27-game losing streak. Expect it to be another tight one between these two in 2022.

3/26 vs UMBC: Last season, these two programs played each other back-to-back in a span of four days. Binghamton took the first contests, 8-7, off a game-winner with one second left in overtime. UMBC took the second of the two games, winning 7-6. For Binghamton, earning such a win against one of the America East’s top teams during a normal scheduling year would be huge.

4/23 @ Vermont: The Bearcats were one only two conference opponents to take down eventual America East champion Vermont last season, doing so 10-7 in the second-to-last week of the season. Facing the Catamounts at the same exact spot on their schedule this season, and with scheduling returning to normal, the Bearcats could cause some serious chaos in the America East if they can pull off the upset once again.
