Key Games
3/19 @ Mercer: The Air Force Falcons and Mercer Bears will meet as non-conference opponents for the first time since 2014. Mercer used a 6-1, fourth-quarter, run to defeat the Falcons 15-13 last season, marking the Falcons’ second-ever loss to the Bears. Air Force suffered their first loss to Mercer in 2018, 9-7, to end a seven-game winning streak against the Bears. The Falcons dominated the Bears, 20-8, in their second-to-last contest in 2019.
4/2 vs Utah: Air Force kicks off ASUN play against the Utah Utes, whom the Falcons have faced each of their first three seasons as a DI program. Air Force holds a 2-1 series lead over the Utes, winning each of their last two meetings. That includes a narrow, 10-9, overtime victory last season in which Gianni Orlando put in the game-winner for the Falcons.
4/30 vs Bellarmine: The Falcons hold a 13-3 series lead all-time over the Knights, however five of their past seven meetings have been decided three goals or less. Last season, Air Force found themselves down 6-2 early in the third quarter before rattling off six consecutive goals to secure the 8-6 victory. Moving from the SoCon ASUN alongside the Knights, another close contest between these two could ensue this season.
