Key Games

2/26 vs Duke: After not being able to play last season, the Penn Quakers and Duke Blue Devils will renew their early-season meeting that we’ve seen for three seasons in a row now (2018, 2019, 2020). Penn has gone 2-1 in those three meetings, which includes a 14-11 win in 2020.

3/26 vs Cornell: The Quakers Ivy League home-opener comes against the Cornell Big Red in what will be a contest between two teams looking to remain as one of the conference’s top teams. This could be a very good contest to really see how the pecking order in the Ivy League will shake out this season, and this game is almost bound to have postseason implications.

4/2 @ Yale: Penn and Yale gave lacrosse fans the best series of the year in 2019 with three exciting matchups. Penn won the regular season meeting 13-12 in triple overtime and took down Yale again in the Ivy League championship game. Yale ended Penn’s season, winning 19-18 in overtime in the NCAA Quarterfinals. That was two years ago, so it’ll be interesting to see how this matchup shakes out with both teams looking quite a bit different at multiple positions.
