Key Games

2/12 @ Providence: The Bulldogs open up the on the road against in-state rival in a contest that once again has Ocean State Cup implications as the trophy wasn’t fought for last season. Bryant won last year’s contest 9-8 in a defensive battle. As always, it’s a rivalry game and first game of the season so expect some excitement.

3/5 @ Vermont: Bryant will travel to Burlington, V.T., for an early-March contest that pits the reigning NEC and America East champions against each other. Bryant won their matchup last season, 15-12, in the first meeting between the two programs since 2013. Last year’s matchup saw one heck of a battle at the faceoff dot with Vermont’s Tommy Burke and Bryant’s Nathan Laliberte each going nearly 50-50 against each other.

3/26 @ Hobart: The Bulldogs fell twice to conference opponents during the regular season in 2021. The first of those conference losses came against the Hobart Statesmen, 11-10, in a contest that was all knotted at 9 heading into the final stanza. Bryant later beat the Statesmen 14-12 in the NEC semifinals. With Bryant and Hobart expected to be top-flight teams in the NEC once again this season, this game could come down to the wire again and have postseason implications.

4/9 @ Saint Joseph’s: The most anticipated game on the NEC calendar will come during the second weekend of April as the Bryant Bulldogs travel to Philly to face the Saint Joseph’s Hawks in a rematch of last year’s NEC title game. Bryant won that meeting 16-10 to avenge a blowout loss, 13-5, to the Hawks earlier in the season. Bryant and Saint Joseph’s are expected to be the top two teams in the NEC once again this season and this game could be a preview of the NEC title game.
