The Robert Morris Colonials are the 36th DI team and fifth from the ASUN to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Colonials are coming off a 2022 campaign in which they went 7-6 overall as an independent. 2022 will mark their first season as a member of the ASUN.

Key Games

2/12 vs Bucknell: These two in-state foes met for the third time in history and first time since 2012 last season. Robert Morris won the contest, 8-7, in a game in which Bucknell made it a one-goal game with 4:55 left in the contest. Another close contest between these two should be expected in 2022.

3/12 vs High Point: The Colonials and Panthers have met each of the past seven seasons and put together a pretty competitive and interesting season. High Point won last year’s meeting, 20-15, while the Panthers took the 2020 meeting 15-11. With the offenses both of these teams have featured the past few seasons, another close meeting between these two can be expected.

4/16 @ Utah: The ASUN game that a lot of folks will have circled is Robert Morris traveling out to the Beehive State to take on their former head coach Andrew McMinn and his new squad in the Utah Utes. Outside of the interesting storyline around this game, it will likely be a battle between two of the top teams in the ASUN and surely have postseason implications. The two met for the first time ever last season in a game that yielded a 16-12 Colonials victory.
