Key Games

2/23 @ North Carolina: The first big test of the season for the Bears comes in the form of a road matchup against the North Carolina Tar Heels, who are coming off a Championship Weekend appearance last season. It’ll be the first meeting between the two since 2013 and should be an exciting matchup with the amount of talent up and down each roster, and the fast-paced style each can play.

3/5 @ Providence: After not being played for last season, the Ocean State Cup is back in contention for between Brown, Bryant, and Providence. The last time the Bears and Friars met was in 2020 and the Friars pulled out a 13-12 overtime win. With the past four meetings between these two crosstown foes being split, 2-2, and each game being decided by an average of 1.25 goals, you can almost be sure it’ll be another tight contest between these two in 2022.

4/9 @ Penn: The last time the Ivy League played was in 2019. During that season, Brown faced Penn twice and fell each time, losing 16-9 in the regular season and 13-12 in the Ivy League semifinals. With both of these teams looking to be near the top half of the conference, a win over Penn would certainly help Brown stay where they have been in recent years, and maybe help them move up.
