Key Games

2/5 @ Christopher Newport (DIII): The Hampton Pirates open up the season on the road against one of two DIII opponents in Christopher Newport. It will mark the first game for the Pirates since March 11th, 2020 and will be the debut of the Chazz Woodson era at Hampton.

2/21 vs VMI: Hampton has their home opener against conference and in-state foe VMI in late February. This will be one of two matchups against the Keydets and will count as a non-conference game. The Pirates have faced the Keydets four times in history and have lost all four matchups. A win would be huge for the Pirates as they have yet to win a DI game since the program’s inception.

3/26 vs Richmond: The Pirates end the month of March with a historic game as they host the Richmond Spiders in their first-ever conference matchup. This contest will officially see Hampton lacrosse enter the next stage of its development as they begin play in the SoCon.
