Navy, Army Grab First 2024 Commits

Less than 24 hours after the contact period opened for service academies, Joe Amplo and the Navy Midshipmen have picked up a commitment from Shoreham-Wading River (N.Y.) midfielder Liam Gregorek.

Gregorek follows in the footsteps of his two older brothers, Gavin who was a freshman for the Mids this past season and Alec is who a 2023 commit to Navy.

Rated as a five-star by NLF, Gregorek is coming off a strong sophomore campaign in which he put up 37 points off 18 goals and 19 assists while helping the Wildcats to a 16-2 record and a Class C Suffolk title game appearance.

On July 2nd, the Army Black Knights got into the game with a commitment from Holdeness (N.H.) attackman JP Guinee. He is rated as a five-star by NLF.

Often showing a streak of toughness in his game with his ability to get his hands free and find the back of the net from multiple spots on the field, Guinee is coming off a strong sophomore campaign in which he helped lead the Bulls to a 10-5 record.
