Kevin Conry and the Michigan Wolverines landed the first commitment in the 2024 class since the contact period opened on September 1st with St. John’s (D.C.) LSM Henry Weller verbaling to the Wolverines on Sunday morning.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound pole has proven to be a true playmaker at the LSM position. Not only does Weller know how to cause trouble for his matchup, getting in his opponents hands and putting the ball on the carpet, but he also has the ability to run through ground balls and help push out in transition. He is rated as a four-star by Inside Lacrosse.

Weller was an impact player on the back end for a Cadets squad that went 19-0 and won the WCAC. He played on a defense alongside a pair of now college freshman in Riley Figueiras (Syracuse) and Richard Checo (Lehigh), as well as one of the best goalies in the 2023 class in Caleb Fyock (Ohio State).

In committing to Michigan, the junior follows in the footsteps of his older brother, Jackie, who is in the Wolverines’ 2023 recruiting class.
