The Lindenwood Lions are the 12th DI program to release its 2023 schedule. The Lions are coming off a 2022 season in which they went 12-4, won the GLVC Tournament, and fell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Lindenwood’s 2023 schedule is it’s first as a DI program as it moves up from DII and into the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Key Games

2/4@ Marquette: The Lions open up its DI era on the road against midwest foe Marquette. It’ll be a big moment and a big test for this Lindenwood program. How the Lions fare in the early season against a solid Big East program could grant some good insight to how ready the Lions are to play and compete in DI.

3/18 @ Cleveland State: Another milestone for this program will come on March 18th as the Lions travel to Cleveland State for its ASUN opener against the Vikings. Going up against one of those teams in the second-tier of the ASUN to begin league play should be a good barometer game for this Lindenwood program.

3/29 vs Queens: Lindenwood is one of two teams jumping up from DII this spring. The other is Queens. The pair will meet in St. Charles, Mo., on the last Saturday in March in what is going to be one of the marquee games in the ASUN this spring.

4/15 vs Jacksonville: One of the other marquee games of the Lions’ schedule this spring comes late in the year as the Jacksonville Dolphins come to town. Facing the conference favorite at home in year one should yield a pretty exciting atmosphere amongst the lacrosse community in the Show Me State.
