Key Games

2/18 @ Georgetown: For the second year in a row, the Penn Quakers will open the season up against the Georgetown Hoyas. Last season, the Hoyas into Franklin Field and beat the Quakers 10-8 in a game that was tight and competitive from start to finish. With Penn trekking down to Washington, D.C., for this year’s meeting, expect another exciting early-season contest between these two potential Championship Weekend hopefuls.

2/25 vs Duke: Just as they did last season, Penn will take on Duke at a neutral site. Penn defeated Duke 14-13 in overtime last season in what ended dup being the Quakers’ first of three OT wins and five overall one-goal victories. It could be a close one once again between these two programs.

3/18 vs Princeton: Penn opens up Ivy League play against the Princeton Tigers at a yet to be determined location. Princeton defeated the Quakers 21-20 last season in what was one of the best regular season games of the season. Both looking to contend for high stakes nationally and within the Ivy League once again, this game will certainly have postseason ramifications and could be a preview of a later meeting.

4/1 vs Yale: The Quakers will open the month of April at home against the Yale Bulldogs. Penn and Yale played twice last season with Yale winning the regular season meeting 12-11 while Penn got revenge in the Ivy League title game with a 16-9 victory. Expect another highly competitive battle between these two Ivy powers in 2023.
