The Holy Cross Crusaders are the 30th DI program to release its 2023 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Crusaders are coming off a 2022 campaign in which they went 1-13 and 0-8 in Patriot League play. Holy Cross missed the postseason.

Holy Cross’ 2023 slate features 14 games with six coming at home and eight on the road. Holy Cross will open the season up on February 4th at Providence. They will open Patriot League play on March 4th at home against Army West Point.

Key Games

2/8 @ Merrimack: Holy Cross opens the year with four consecutive road games in February. One of those contests comes against the Merrimack Warriors. Last spring, the Warriors topped the Crusaders 11-9 in a game that saw Holy Cross put together a strong second-half effort. They will be looking to flip that this spring.

4/18 vs UMass Lowell: The Crusaders’ lone win last season came on the road against the UMass Lowell River Hawks by a score of 15-14. This year, Holy Cross will welcome the River Hawks to  Worcester and will be looking to score another win against the in-state foe.

4/28 @ Colgate: Holy Cross went winless in Patriot League play last season. However, they did play in some close games. The closest of which was the Crusaders’ season-ending 14-12 loss to Colgate. In 2023, Holy Cross will once again end the year against Colgate. After coming close against what’t been a tough Colgate squad, J.L. Reppert’s squad will be looking to flip the script this sprong.
