The Siena Saints are the 50th DI program to release its 2023 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Saints are coming off a 2022 campaign in which they went 6-9 overall and 3-3 in the MAAC. Siena saw its season end with a loss to St. Bonaventure in the MAA semifinals.

Siena’ 2023 slate features 13 game six coming at home and seven on the road. The Saints will open the season on February 11th at home against NJIT. They open MAAC play on March 11th against Sacred Heart at home.

Key Games

2/25 vs UMass Lowell: The Siena Saints end the month of February hosting the UMass Lowell River Hawks. Last season, the Saints defeated the River Hawks 14-10 to earn what was one of their three non-conference victories. The past four games between these two have been decided by an average of 1.75 goals.

3/29 @ Canisius: All three of Siena’s MAAC losses last season came by one goal. That included a 9-8 loss to the Canisius Golden Griffins.  With how close the MAAC can be, expect a tight one again between these conference foes once again. And it could very well have postseason implications.

4/12 vs Marist:  Siena will welcome in the Marist Red Foxes for what could be a game that helps decide the MAAC postseason picture. The Red Foxes beat the Saints 11-10 last season in a game that saw nine lead changes.
