The Ohio State Buckeyes are the 51st DI program to release its 2023 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Buckeyes are coming off a 2022 campaign in which they went 10-6 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten. Ohio State saw its season end with a loss to Cornell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

2/25 vs Virginia: Ohio State will end the month of February going up against the Virginia Cavaliers in Naples, Fla. It will be the first major test of the season for the Buckeyes, being a battle between two potential top-10 and NCAA Tournament teams. It will especially put this Ohio State defense, with Bobby Van Buren and Marcus Hudgins headlining things, to the test.

3/4 vs Cornell: The Buckeyes open the month of March at home against the Cornell Big Red, whom they faced twice last season. Ohio State fell to Cornell 14-11 in Ithaca in the regular season and then 15-8 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Ohio State will be looking to get back at the Big Red in this one.

4/15 @ Johns Hopkins: Last season, Hopkins held a 9-8 lead heading into the final quarter but the Buckeyes outscored them 4-1 in the frame to earn the 12-10 win. It marked the fourth consecutive victory for the Buckeyes over the Blue Jays. Another tight one should be expected between these two in 2023.

4/22 @ Michigan: Ohio State ends the regular season on the road against arch-rival Michigan Wolverines. As always, both teams have this one circled and a hard-fought battle is to be expected. Ohio State beat Michigan twice last season, winning 14-12 in the regular season and 16-10 in the Big Ten Quarterfinals.
