Key Games

3/4 vs Canisius: One of the Vikings’ three victories last season came against the Canisius Golden Griffins, 12-10. Welcoming them to Cleveland this spring, the Vikings will be looking for a second consecutive win over the MAAC program. It is the likeliest non-conference win for the Vikings and should be a tight contest once again.

4/1 vs Air Force: Cleveland State opens the month of April at home against the Air Force Falcons. Last spring, the Vikings fell to the Falcons in a 12-8 contest in Colorado Springs. The Vikings will be looking to flip the script this year. And if they indeed do so, it would be a huge win for the program.

4/29 vs Detroit Mercy: Another close conference lost last spring, the Vikings fell to the Titans 13-12. Given where both programs are, or are expected to be, in the ASUN Pecking order, expect another tight one between these two in 2023.
