Key Games

2/11 vs Boston U.: Vermont’s home opener will come on February 11th as the Boston U. Terriers come to Burlington in what will be a matchup between the defending America East champion and Patriot League champion. Each were some of the most talented mid-majors last season. This one should be extremely interesting.

2/18 @ Utah: The westernmost and northermost, Vermont and Utah have met three times since 2019. That includes last season when the Utes topped the Catamounts 11-10 in Burlington. In 2023, Vermont will be making its first trip to Salt Lake City since that first meeting between these two. Expect he battle at the faceoff dot between Utah’s Cole Brams and Vermont’s Tommy Burke to be a major talking point heading into this battle.

4/29 @ UMBC: The Catamounts end the regular season on the road against the UMBC Retrievers in what will be a rematch of last season’s America East title game. Vermont beat UMBC 12-3 in the regular season and 13-11 in the conference title game last season. This will be one to circle for sure and could have significant postseason implications.
