The Robert Morris Colonials are the 58th DI program to release its 2023 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Colonials are coming off a 2022 campaign in which they went 10-6 overall and 4-1 in ASUN play. Robert Morris won the ASUN championship and saw its season come to an end with a loss to Delaware in the NCAA play-in round.

Robert Morris’ 2023 slate features 14 games with seven coming at home and seven coming on the road. Robert Morris opens the season on February 11th at Bucknell. They open ASUN play on March 18th at home against Jacksonville.

Key Games

2/11 @ Bucknell: Robert Morris opens the season on the road against Western Pennsylvania rival Bucknell. Playing each of the past two seasons since renewing the series, Bucknell won last year’s game 14-12 while Robert Morris won the 2021 meeting 8-7.

3/11 @ High Point: The Colonials and Panthers have met each of the past eight seasons and during that time, put together a pretty competitive and interesting season. High Point has taken each of the past two meetings, including a 13-11 win last spring. With the offenses both of these teams have featured the past few seasons, another close meeting between these two can be expected.

3/18 vs Jacksonville: Robert Morris opens ASUN play by welcoming in the Jacksonville Dolphins.  These two programs have played seven times in history with the Colonials leading the series 5-2. Their last meeting was in 2021, which Robert Morris won 16-15. This meeting between these two will be a crucial ASUN matchup and could also see a lot of offense with the talent both squads have.

4/8 vs Utah: 4/8 @ Robert Morris: Robert Morris faced their old coach, Andrew McMinn, and the Utah Utes twice last season. The Utes took that first contest 18-8 in blowout fashion. However, three weeks later, the Colonials took down the Utes 18-17 in a high scoring ASUN title game. This will be one to circle on the ASUN schedule for sure.
