Key Games

2/4 vs Holy Cross: The Bobby Benson era at Providence officially gets underway on February 4th as the Friars host the Holy Cross Crusaders. It should provide a good look at what this team will be in year one under Benson. Coincidentally, it will also be a contest that pits each of the last two Maryland offensive coordinators against each other as head coaches.

4/1 vs Marquette: Providence opens Big East play at home against the Marquette Golden Eagles. Last spring, Marquette go the best of the Friars in a 16-11 victory. Providence will be looking to flip the script in 2023 in what could be a game that helps decides that fourth spot in the Big East Tournament.

4/15 vs Villanova: The Friars welcome in the Villanova Wildcats for its second-to-last home game of the regular season. Providence fell 18-13 to the Wildcats last season. A victory here would be huge for the program and could very well have postseason implications.
