Key Games
2/25 vs Ohio State: Virginia will end the month of February going up against the Ohio State Buckeyes in Naples, Fla. It will be one of the first major test of the season for the Cavaliers, being a battle between two potential top-10 and NCAA Tournament teams. It will likely be a particular good look at this Virginia offense up against what is expected to be a very dangerous Ohio State defense.
3/18 vs Maryland: One of the most highly-anticipated matchups of last season, the Cavaliers will welcome in the defending national champion Maryland Terrapins to Charlottesville this year for what should once again be a high-profile battle between top teams. Virginia last defeated Maryland in the 2021 national title game before the Terrapins defeated the Cavaliers in the regular season and the NCAA Quarterfinals last season. Who takes this round?
3/25 @ Notre Dame: Virginia and Notre Dame will play twice this season with the first meeting coming in late March in South Bend. With the expectations each of these programs bring into the season, each of these contests could have massive postseason implications and help decide the ACC.
