The Delaware Blue Hens are the 12th DI program to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule and third in the CAA to do so. The Blue Hens are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 10-3 (7-1 CAA) and saw their season come to an end in the conference semifinals as they fell to Hofstra, 10-9.

2022 Schedule Preview: Vermont Catamounts

The Vermont Catamounts are the 11th DI program and first in the America East to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Catamounts are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 9-5 (7-2 America East), won their conference tournament, and saw their season end in the first round of the NCAA Tournament with a 17-11 loss against eventual national runner-up Maryland.

2022 Schedule Preview: Drexel Dragons

The Drexel Dragons are the 10th DI program and second in the CAA to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Dragons are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 10-3 (6-2 CAA), won their conference tournament, and saw their season end in the first round of the NCAA Tournament with a 10-8 loss against Notre Dame.

2022 Schedule Preview: Bellarmine Knights

The Bellarmine Knights are the ninth DI program and first in the ASUN to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule, doing so on Monday afternoon. The Knights are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 5-10 (2-4 SoCon). 2022 will be the Knights’ first season in the ASUN a they move to the conference alongside Air Force, Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, Robert Morris, and Utah.

LIU Improved in Year Two as a DI. Can They Keep Pushing Forward in 2022?

When Bryant made the jump from DII to DI following a 2008 campaign in which they reached the NCAA Semifinals, success was seen pretty quickly. The Bulldogs went 10-5 during their inaugural season as a DI, where they played as an independent. In year two they joined the NEC and won the conference’s regular-season title, and just three years and two conference titles later the Bulldogs found themselves in the NCAA Tournament giving traditional power Syracuse trouble in a 12-7 loss. They would upset the Orange a year later in one of the most memorable games in recent history.

The Denver Pioneers are the eighth DI program and first in the Big East to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule, doing so on Thursday afternoon. The Pioneers are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 12-5 (9-1 Big East) and saw their season end in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Loyola.

2022 Schedule Preview: Marist Red Foxes

The Marist Red Foxes are the sixth DI program and first in the MAAC to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule, doing so on Wednesday evening. The Red Foxes are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 3-1 overall (2-0 MAAC) against a conference only schedule that was shortened due to COVID protocols. The Red Foxes ended their season in the conference quarterfinals.

In 2022, Quinnipiac Has a Talented Roster and Unfinished Business to Attend To

Coming into the final week of the regular season, the Quinnipiac Bobcats were one of the most intriguing teams in the MAAC. Boasting a 4-3 record against a conference-only schedule, the Bobcats were coming off a mid-week loss to Marist and heading into their final game of the season (at Detroit Mercy) were very much in the hunt for that coveted No. 1 seed in the MAAC tournament.
