Southern High School Notebook: Strong Starts Highlight Early Season Play

The high school season is off and running in the South with most teams in Georgia and Florida being a few weeks into their seasons now while play has just gotten further underway in South Carolina, Texas, and Arkansas. The season is on the cusp in Kentucky, North Carolina, and Tennessee with things getting further underway this week.

State Tournament Primer: Florida

While many parts of the country may only be a at the halfway point of the 2021 high school season, many states in the South are either on the back half of the regular season or already in playoff mode, except for the NCHSAA (North Carolina) who crowned their state champions almost a full month ago.
