The Air Force Falcons are the 15th DI program and second in the ASUN to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Falcons are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 4-9 (3-3 SoCon) and saw their season end with an 11-6 loss against Richmond in the SoCon semifinals. 2022 marks the Falcons first season in the ASUN as they move to the conference along with Bellarmine, Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, Robert Morris, and Utah.

Heading into the final week of the regular season, Air Force was in a battle with Bellarmine and Mercer for that fourth and final spot in the SoCon tournament. Traveling 1,644.7 miles to Virginia’s capital city to face the Richmond Spiders, who had already clinched the top seed in the conference tournament, the Falcons pulled off their biggest win of the season, taking down the Spiders 11-6 to hand them their first conference loss of the season.

The service academies recruit on a timeline that is a little different than the rest, as they can start contacting rising junior recruits on July 1st.

Bill Wilson and the Air Force Falcons picked up their second commitment of the week on Friday, as Miramonte, Calif., attackman Mark Cheng announced his commitment to the Falcons. Cheng’s commitment comes just days after H.h. Down, Mich., attackman Ryan Stadelmaier gave his verbal commitment to the Falcons.
