UMass Tops Hofstra in CAA Maintee

The UMass Minutemen started strong and finished strong, as they took down Hofstra 16-10 on the road on Tuesday afternoon in one of the most high-profile CAA games of the season. The win for UMass comes just one week after suffering their first loss of the season at the hands of non-conference rival UAlbany.

Friday Recap: Manhattan Tops Monmouth in Double Overtime For Third Straight Win

In a rematch of their season opener, in which they lost 8-5 and didn’t count as a conference game, the Manhattan Jaspers took down the Monmouth Hawks 9-8 in double overtime to move to the top of the MAAC standings with a 3-0 conference record. The Jaspers’ win also snaps a six-game losing streak against the Hawks and hands them their first loss of the season.

Danes Ward Off UMass, Earn Biggest Win of The Season

Despite missing three players, including leading scorer Tehoka Nanticoke and starting defenseman Elijah Gash, due to a conference-imposed, one-game suspension following an altercation during their contest against Binghamton on Saturday, UAlbany took down UMass, 13-12, on Tuesday afternoon to earn their biggest win of the season and hand the Minutemen their first loss.

Saturday Recap: Rutgers and Michigan Earn Bounce-Back Wins, Virginia Holds off Robert Morris

A week after getting blown out against Maryland in the second half, the Rutgers Scarlet Knight bounced back and defeated the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays 15-9 on the road.

The Blue Jays’ offense, which saw Garrett Degnon and Connor DeSimone combine for five goals and eight points, should continual improvement in the first half. After seeing things tied at 2 to end the first, Johns Hopkins outpaced Rutgers 5-3 in the second quarter to pull ahead 7-5 heading into the half.

Midweek Notebook: Notre Dame Blast Marquette
