2023’s Top Freshmen at Midseason

The college lacrosse season began 46 days ago as as teams took to the field for real for the first time back on February 4th. Now, believe it or not, only 46 days remain until selection Sunday, so that means we are just about at the midpoint of the season.

Midweek Recap: Boston U. Tops Harvard, ‘Cuse & Villanova Earn Decisive Wins

Last season, the Boston U. Terriers had five losses; four of which came to Ivy League teams as they fell to Harvard, Yale, and Princeton (twice). The Terriers also fell to Patriot League foe Army West Point in the season finale before avenging that loss in the league title game a week later.

Midweek Notebook: Virginia Keeps The Doyle Smith Cup, Dartmouth Starts 4-0, Penn Wins OT Thriller vs St. Joe’s

The Doyle Smith Cup will be staying in Charlottesville for another year as the Virginia Cavaliers defeated the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays 18-13 at Homewood on Tuesday afternoon. It marks the third consecutive victory for the Cavaliers over the Blue Jays.

2023 Schedule Breakdown: Dartmouth Big Green

The Dartmouth Big Green are the 35th DI program to release its 2023 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Big Green are coming off a 2022 campaign in which they went 4-9 overall and 0-6 in Ivy League play. The Big Green missed the postseason.

Tuesday Recap: Dartmouth’s Defense Stifles Vermont For Third Consecutive Win

Daniel Hincks grabbed an off-the-mark bouncer from Brock Haley with 28 seconds remaining to earn his 20th save of the day and end any further Vermont effort in the final moments, effectively securing the 8-7 Dartmouth victory. The win marks the third consecutive for Brendan Callahan’s program.

Goalie Duel Up North: Hincks, Cornell Headline Dartmouth-Vermont Midweek Clash
