The Holy Cross Crusaders are the 30th DI program to release its 2023 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Crusaders are coming off a 2022 campaign in which they went 1-13 and 0-8 in Patriot League play. Holy Cross missed the postseason.

2022 Schedule Preview: Holy Cross Crusaders

The Holy Cross Crusaders are the 71st DI program and the ninth from the Patriot League to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Crusaders are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 2-4 (1-3 Patriot League) and saw their season cut short. It was year one of the J.L. Reppert era.

Peter Burke Out at Holy Cross

Holy Cross Director of Athletics Marcus Blossom has announced a change in the leadership of the men’s lacrosse program, effective immediately. Assistant coach Shayne Lynch will serve as the Crusaders’ interim head coach until a replacement has been selected, the university announced in a press release on Friday.

What’s The Ceiling For a Youthful Holy Cross Squad?

The first year of the Peter Burke era at Holy Cross marked the Crusaders’ first season in which they reached the .500 mark since 1988, when they went 8-7 under then head coach Bob Lindsey, who is the winningest coach in program history. They followed up that historic 2019 season by going 4-3 before the season was cancelled in 2020.
