Week Six Notebook: Maryland Tops Virginia in OT Thriller, Cornell Clamps Yale, Marquette Upsets Penn State

Coming into this weekend after last I was unsure of just how good this slate would end up being outside of a few games. Needless to say, it exceeded my expectations.

Week six of the college lacrosse season saw what was the best game of the season to this point, and former upsetter get upset themselves, wildness in conference play, and more.

2023 Schedule Breakdown: Marquette Golden Eagles

The Marquette Golden Eagles are the 45th DI program to release its 2023 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Golden Eagles coming off a 2022 campaign in which they went 4-11 overall and 2-3 in the Big East. The Golden Eagles saw their season end in the Bog East semifinals with a loss to Georgetown.

2022 Schedule Preview: Marquette Golden Eagles

The Marquette Golden Eagles are the 25th DI program and third from the Big Ten to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Golden Eagles are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 4-8 overall (3-7 Big East) against a Big East-heavy schedule.
