2022 Schedule Preview: Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers

The Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers are the 59th DI program and seventh from the NEC to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Mountaineers are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 4-9 overall (2-5 NEC).

New Faces Highlight Mount St. Mary’s Heading Into 2022

In 2019, the Tom Gravante led Mount St. Mary’s to its best season in a decade, and certainly one of the best in program history. The Mountaineers went 9-7 overall (5-1 NEC) and saw their season end in the NEC semifinals against eventual conference champion Robert Morris, 13-12.

Balanced Offense, Faceoff Success Leads Mount St. Mary’s Past Delaware in Season-Opener

In what was the season-opener for both teams following each of their games getting cancelled on Saturday, the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers took down the Delaware Blue Hens 10-7.
