Fourth-Quarter Comeback Helps Push Duke Past Notre Dame in Overtime

Just 12 days after suffering their first loss of the season at the hands of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Duke Blue Devils got payback on their home field, securing the 13-12 win in overtime. It’s the third consecutive Thursday night overtime win for the Blue Devils this season.

Ben Spinelli Flips From Brown to Notre Dame

Notre Dame Has Big Day on The Recruiting Trail

It has been an exciting Thursday for the folks in South Bend. The Irish received three sizable verbal commitments on Thursday. Brothers Jeffery and Thomas Ricciardelli out of Taft, Conn., flipped their commitments from Penn to Notre Dame and Corona Del Mar, Calif., midfielder Logan Ip announced his verbal to the Irish mere hours after the Ricciardelli brother’d decision went public.

NCAA Stock Watch: Which Teams Improved Their Stock Over The Offseason

Since the 2020 season was abruptly ended in mid-March due to the Coronavirus outbreak, you could argue that it has been somewhat of a “free agent” frenzy across the college lacrosse landscape. Seniors were announcing their returns to their previous program for a fifth-year or entering their name into the NCAA Transfer Portal in hopes of finding a new home for the 2021 season.

Culver, Ind. Goalie Colin Vickrey Details His Commitment to The Irish

Kevin Corrigan and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish picked up their 10th commitment in the 2022 class on Monday afternoon, as Culver, Ind. goalie Colin Vickrey announced his commitment to the Irish. A Dallas, Texas native, Vickrey is the fourth commitment in the class on the defensive side of the field for the Irish, joining St. Thomas, Minn. defenseman Jackson Carver, Wilton, Conn. defensman Jake Sommer, and Brunswick, Conn. LSM Will Donovan.
