The Ohio State Buckeyes will not be playing in their home stadium next weekend in the NCAA Quarterfinals. It will be the Cornell Big Red who will be moving on top Columbus after defeating the Buckeyes 15-8 in Ithaca.

Ranking All Eight First-Round NCAA Tournament Games

The brackets are set and the 2022 Men’s College Lacrosse NCAA Tournament will get underway this weekend with the field of 16. The two play-in games will be had on Wednesday to decide who plays the No. 1 seed Maryland and No. 2 Georgetown in the first round.

Sunday Recap: Ohio Defeats Michigan in Big Ten Regular Season Finale

In a matchup that will be played out once more in the Big Ten Quarterfinals next week, the Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Michigan Wolverines 14-12. The Buckeyes victory ensured the Wolverines ending the regular season on a seven-game losing streak, which is the exact opposite of how they opened the season (seven straight wins).

The win also marks the Buckeyes first time capturing the Creators Trophy since 2015. Ohio State, along with Michigan and Penn State fight for the trophy each season.

Saturday Recap: Jacksonville Holds off Richmond, Brown Upsets Penn, Notre Dame & Virginia Earn ACC Wins

The Jacksonville defense made their biggest stop of the day with 40 seconds left in regulation. Colin Hinton scooped up the ground ball and got it into the offensive zone, where the Dolphins ran into some trouble but were bailed out by a timeout from John Galloway with 21 seconds left.

Sunday Recap: Dominant Second Half Lifts Rutgers Past Ohio State, Maryland Downs Penn State

Ross Scott came off a pick from behind, ran right past the short-stick who jumped out on him, curled the cage, and put one past Skyler Wahlund to tie things at 4. Just 15 seconds later, Mitch Bartolo put an exclamation point on fast-paced sequence off the faceoff to give Rutgers their first lead of the game, 5-4.

Tuesday Recap: Madronic, King Lead Harvard Past Boston U.; Ohio State Shuts Out Dartmouth in Second Half

Sunday Recap: Connell, Stathakis Lead Denver in Upset of Ohio State

The Denver Pioneers went into the Horseshoe and took down the No. 7 Ohio State Buckeyes, 14-12, for their biggest win of the season and to snap their two-game losing streak. Additionally, it marked the first win in Columbus for the Pioneers since 2013 when the two teams were members of the ECAC.
