In 2022, Can Ohio State Regain Consistency?

After two consecutive seasons in 2018 and 2019 in which the Buckeyes shot themselves in the foot somewhere along the way, Ohio State had a solid showing during the shortened 2020 season, going 5-2. And after that strong start, and all the talent up and down the roster, 2021 looked like it could be the first year that Ohio State put all the pieces together since their NCAA Championship game run in 2017.

St. John’s (D.C.) Goalie Caleb Fyock Commits to Ohio State

Nick Myers and the Ohio State Buckeyes kicked off the weekend with a bang, landing a commitment from St. John’s goalie Caleb Fyock on Friday night. The junior is the second commitment in the 2023 class for the Buckeyes, joining Western Reserve Academy (Ohio) D/LSM Aiden Bodonyi, who was the first post-September 1st commitment in the class.

Aiden Bodoyni Commits to Ohio State

Western Reserve Academy (Ohio) defenseman/LSM Aiden Bodonyi is staying in his home state to play for Nick Myers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. The junior announced his decision on Instagram on Wednesday morning, becoming the first commitment in the 2023 class following the contact period opening up at Midnight.

Ohio State Adds Hobart Grad Transfer Drew Blanchard

Former Hobart faceoff man Drew Blanchard confirmed to Lacrosse Bucket on Wednesday afternoon that he will be heading to Ohio State as a grad transfer with two years of eligibility left.

Blanchard joins attackman Jason Knox as one of two former Statesmen who have decided to finish their college lacrosse career’s with the Buckeyes. News of Knox’s transfer to Ohio State came out yesterday.

Ohio State Could Run Away With The Big Ten

In 2017, the Ohio State Buckeyes reached what may view as the pinnacle of the sport when they made their first ever Championship Weekend appearance. And while the Buckeyes didn’t come out on top, losing to Maryland in the national title game, it certainly marked their arrival into the elite tier of college lacrosse that they had seemed to be sitting just outside of for so long.

Ohio State Adds Tar Heel State Faceoff Man in 2022 Class

Nick Myers and the Ohio State Buckeyes landed a commitment in the 2022 class out of the Tar Heel state on Wednesday, as Wakefield, N.C., faceoff man Coleman Kraske announced that he would be taking his talents to Columbus.
