2022 Schedule Preview: Lafayette Leopards

The Lafayette Leopards are the 49th DI team and sixth from the Patriot League to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Leopards are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 0-11 (0-8 Patriot League). The Leopards come into 2022 looking to end their nearly three-year, 27-game losing streak.

2022 Schedule Preview: Boston U. Terriers

The Boston U. Terriers are the 43rd DI team and fifth from the Patriot League to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Terriers are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 6-5 overall (4-2 Patriot League). Their season came to an end in the Patriot League quarterfinals against Colgate.

2022 Schedule Preview: Navy Midshipmen

The Navy Midshipmen are the 41st DI team and fourth in the Patriot League to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Midshipmen are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 6-3 (4-2 Patriot League). They saw their season end in an 16-9 defeat against Loyola in the conference quarterfinals.

The Army West Point Black Knights are the 40th DI team and third in the Patriot League to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Black Knights are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 7-4 (5-2 Patriot League). They saw their season end in an 11-10 defeat against Loyola in the conference semifinals.

The Bucknell Bison are the 19th DI program and second in the Patriot League to announce their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Bison are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 2-6 overall (1-5 Patriot League). They missed the Patriot League conference tournament.

The Loyola Greyhounds are the 14th DI program and first in the Patriot League to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Greyhounds are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 10-6 (4-3 Patriot League) and saw their season end with a 10-9 loss against Duke in the NCAA Quarterfinals.

With A Plethora of Seniors Leading The Way, Army Has NCAA Tournament Potential in 2022

Heading into their biggest game of the season, Army was averaging 12.8 goals per game and sporting a 6-2 that saw them hold their opponent to single-digits in three of their past four contests and four times all season.

Navy Has Seen a Lot of Progress Under Joe Amplo. Can They Keep it Going in 2022?

Joe Amplo lifted Marquette from a DI lacrosse newbie to a Big East champion in just four short seasons. A similar task awaited him upon his arrival in Annapolis, as he was handed the keys to one of the most historic programs in the game with the mission to steer the ship (no pun intended) back in the right direction.

Is a Patriot League Two-Peat on The Horizon For Lehigh?

In both 2018 and 2019 Lehigh reached the Patriot League title, only to fall and see their NCAA Tournament hopes cut short. Following a shortened 2020 season, the Mountain Hawks found themselves back in the Patriot League championship, and while Lehigh grabbed the conference’s NCAA AQ spot as the Patriot League champions it will always be followed by an asterisk due to Loyola having to forfeit.
