Sunday Recap: Dominant Second Half Lifts Rutgers Past Ohio State, Maryland Downs Penn State

Ross Scott came off a pick from behind, ran right past the short-stick who jumped out on him, curled the cage, and put one past Skyler Wahlund to tie things at 4. Just 15 seconds later, Mitch Bartolo put an exclamation point on fast-paced sequence off the faceoff to give Rutgers their first lead of the game, 5-4.

2022 Schedule Preview: Penn State Nittany Lions

The Penn State Nittany Lions are the 44th DI team and third from the Big Ten to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Nittany Lions are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 4-7 against a Big Ten-only schedule. Their season ended in the Big Ten quarterfinals against Johns Hopkins.

Penn State Looks to Bounce Back in 2022

The 2021 season wasn’t kind to the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Just two years removed from their first-ever Championship Weekend appearance, Penn State churned out a 4-7 record this spring, marking their worst season under John Tambroni and worst since going 2-11 back in 2010.
