Wednesday Recap: Vermont Tops Penn State; LIU, Manhattan Earn Wins

2022 Schedule Preview: Quinnipiac Bobcats

The Quinnipiac Bobcats are the 50th DI team and fourth from the MAAC to release their 2022 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Bobcats are coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 4-3 against a MAAC-only schedule. Quinnipiac missed the postseason because of COVID protocols.

In 2022, Quinnipiac Has a Talented Roster and Unfinished Business to Attend To

Coming into the final week of the regular season, the Quinnipiac Bobcats were one of the most intriguing teams in the MAAC. Boasting a 4-3 record against a conference-only schedule, the Bobcats were coming off a mid-week loss to Marist and heading into their final game of the season (at Detroit Mercy) were very much in the hunt for that coveted No. 1 seed in the MAAC tournament.

Can 2021 Be a Bounce-Back Season For Quinnipiac?

In the fall of 2018, Mason Poli was named the interim head coach of the Quinnipiac Bobcats following the firing of Eric Fekete, which was the result of a hazing scandal that suspended the team for fall and prohibited all seniors from playing in the first five games of the season.
