Recruiting has been operating in a dead period since March. But that hasn’t seemed to impact the 2022 cycle nearly as much as some might have expected. If anything, the process has been accelerated with, at the time of writing this, over 420 players having committed in the class since the September 1st date, per the Lacrosse Bucket Recruiting Database.

September 1st, as it has since the fall of 2017, marked the opening of the contact period between college coaches and junior recruits with the exception of three schools: Air Force, Army, and Navy.
