MAAC Semifinals: Dobson’s 27 Saves, Rose’s Sock Trick Lead St. Bonaventure Past Siena, Manhattan Tops Marist in OT

Behind a career-best 27-save performance from Brett Dobson, the St. Bonaventure Bonnies took down the Siena Saints 12-10 to advance to their first-ever MAAC title game appearance.

Wednesday Recap: North Carolina Earns Bounce-Back Win Against Brown

The North Carolina Tar Heels earned a bounce-back win on Wednesday afternoon, taking down the Brown Bears 14-11 at home. The win came just four days after the Tar Heels’ blowout 20-8 home loss against Ohio State.

Siena Looks to Rebound After Winless Season

Liam Gleason’s first season at the helm of the Saints in 2019 yielded a 6-7 (3-4 in the MAAC) result. That was following a 2018 season in which Siena went 3-9 and finished dead last in the MAAC. In addition to their improvements in the win/loss column, the Saints finished 14th in scoring offense, averaging 12.92 goals per game, and 36th in shooting percentage (28%).

Jack Kiernan Returning to Siena For Fifth Season

After a 2021 season in which the Siena Saints went 0-8, losing by an average of 1.875 goals, and ending the year with a 12-11 loss against eventual MAAC champions Monmouth in the conference quarterfinals, Liam Gleason’s squad will be returning their top-leading scorer.
