2022 Schedule Preview: VMI Keydets

The VMI Keydets are the second DI program to release their 2022 schedule, doing so on Friday afternoon. The Keydets are heading into their second season under head coach James Purpura and coming off a 2021 campaign in which they went 1-10 overall and 0-6 in SoCon play.

How Did First-Year Head Coaches Fare in 2021?

The 2021 season was certainly not a normal one. While this were pretty normal by Memorial Day, restrictions and pauses added challenges that nobody had ever had to deal with before. Add in the fact of being a first-year head coach and that can certainly make things even more difficult.
