The St. John’s Red Storm Men’s lacrosse program has its next head boss.

Michigan offensive coordinator Justin Turri is set to be named the next head coach of the Red Storm after three season in Ann Arbor, per a report from Inside Lacrosse’s Ty Xanders.

Turri, a Long Island native, served in the same role at Harvard during the 2018 season and also made stops at Army West Point and Providence before joining Kevin Conry’s staff at Michigan.

This past spring Turri led a Michigan offense that ended the season as the 11th-ranked scoring offense (14.07 goals per game) nationally.

Upon taking over at St. John’s, Turri will become a head coach for the first time in his career.

The Red Storm are coming off a 2022 campaign in which they went 2-12 (0-5Big East) and missed the postseason.
