The Army Black Knights are the 62nd DI program to release their 2020 men’s lacrosse schedule. The Black Knights come into the 2020 season following a 2019 campaign where they went 13-5 overall and 5-3 in the Patriot League. The Black Knights beat Lehigh in the Patriot League Championship game and lost to Penn in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Key Games

2/23 @ Syracuse

The Black Knights and Orange have produced some very exciting contest over the past few seasons with three of the past five meetings being decided by just one goal. Last season, Syracuse took down Army 10-8 despite a very strong second half effort from Army. 

3/14 vs Lehigh

Army and Lehigh faced each other twice last season, splitting their two meetings. Lehigh defeated Army 11-8 in the regular season and Army defeated Lehigh 11-7 in the Patriot League championship game. In the Patriot League championship game, Army went on a six-goal run to end the game and secure the win. 

4/18 vs Navy

In the 100th meeting between these two arch rivals last season, Matt Manown scored the overtime game winner for the Black Knights to secure the 9-8 win and break Navy’s four-game winning streak. This year’s meeting presents a new dynamic as Navy has a new head man in Joe Amplo.
