Earlier this week, Bill Wilson and the Air Force Falcons picked up a commitment from one of the best offensive talents in the Sunshine State in St. Andrew’s (Fla.) attackman Jack Schulte.

The 5-foot-9, 160-pound junior was one of 15 players named to the Lacrosse Bucket 2023 Southern Big Board in late August. He pulled the trigger on the Falcons following a recent visit to Colorado Springs. The Florida native was also able to get on campus on his own back in March.

“I have always wanted to have the opportunity to play lacrosse and serve at the same time,” Schulte told Lacrosse Bucket. “After having another visit and being able to witness the brotherhood of the team along with the amazing coaching staff, I knew I would 100% accept an offer if I had the opportunity.”

Schulte is coming off an impressive sophomore campaign with the Scots in which he put up a team-high 58 points off 40 goals and 18 assists, helping to lead his team to an undefeated, 16-0, state championship-winning season.

From Lacrosse Bucket 2023 Southern Big Board (8/29):

After making a name for himself as a freshman during the shortened 2020 season, and further proved himself as one of the top attackmen in the Sunshine State this past season. Schulte led a 16-0 Scots state championship squad with 40 goals and 18 assists for 58 points during the spring 2021 season. Schulte has shown the ability to get to the cage and put the ball in the back of the cage from all over the field, but he has also shown a great willingness in the riding game at times.

The fifth commitment in the class for the Falcons, Schulte is the first on the offensive end. He joins defensemen James Hillwig (Boy’s Latin, Md.) and Trevor Galgano (Walt Whitman, N.Y.), as well as goalie Matt Torrey (Belmont Hill, Mass.) and LSM Forrest Ives (Cazenovia, N.Y.)
