Binghamton goalie Teddy Dolan will be heading to College Park to play for John Tillman and the Maryland Terrapins as a grad transfer next season. He confirmed his decision to Lacrosse Bucket on Monday night.

Dolan is the second grad transfer set to join the Terrapins next season, joining Sacred Heart midfielder Donovan Lacey who announced his decision back in January.

A three-year starter for the Bearcats, Dolan was named the 2021 America East Player of The Year. Additionally, he was named a first-team All-Conference selection in 2021 and a second-team selection this past season.

Dolan made 189 saves with a 54% save percentage this past spring. That included a program-best 20 save performance against Stony Brook. He ranked 15th nationally in save percentage and sixth in saves per game (13.50).

The Garden City, N.Y. native ends his career at Binghamton second all-time in program history in career saves with 389 saves. He sits only behind current Binghamton head coach Kevin McKeown on that list.

Heading to Maryland, Dolan follows in the footsteps of his older brother, Danny, who served as the Terrapins starting goalie in 2019.

Arriving in college park as a redshirt senior, Dolan will have two years of eligibility left to use. He joins a goalie room that is constantly one of the most stacked in college lacrosse and is headlined by current starter Logan McNaney, who has two years of eligibility left that he can use.
