Key Games

3/8 vs Penn: The Hawk suffered three regular season losses last season, one of which came on the road against fellow Philly foe Penn. The Quakers defeated the Hawks 13-12 in overtime in a late-season, midweek contest. The two will meet in the Philly4Classic in March this season for what should be another tight contest. The crosstown foes have faced each other 12 times since 2010 with the Quakers taking all but two of those meetings (2016, 2018).

3/11 vs Drexel: Another team that Saint Joseph’s fell to last season was the Drexel Dragons. They too will meet in the Philly4Classic this spring. In last year’s meeting, Saint Joseph’s took a 7-2 lead in the first quarter before the Dragons came back and won 18-17.

4/1 vs Richmond: Seen as the favorite in the A-10 during its first year sponsoring men’s lacrosse, the Hawks biggest competitor at the top of what should be a very strong league this year could very well be the Richmond Spiders, who have been one of the most consistent mid-majors in recent years. The game between these two will be the A-10 opener for each. The Hawks and Spiders have met twice in history: 2014 and 2015, with each winning one.
