Key Games
2/11 @ Utah: The Golden Eagles’ first road game of the season will also be its first big test of the year as they head out west to play the Utah Utes. Last spring, the Golden Eagles fell to Utah at home in a one-goal, 12-11 contest that was the first regular season meeting between the two. Marquette will be looking to flip the script in 2023.
2/25 vs Michigan: One of two neutral site contest Marquette will be apart of, the Golden Eagles will head South to Naples, Fla., in late February to face Midwest foe Michigan. Last season, Marquette hosted the Wolverines in a game they lost 16-12. This should be another interesting contest between the two and a win for Marquette would be huge.
4/1 @ Providence: Marquette opens Big East play on the road against the Providence Friars, who enter year one under new head coach Bobby Benson. Marquette beat the Friars 16-11 last spring. This game could very well decide who gets that fourth conference tournament spot.
