Kevin Corrigan and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish got some huge news on Thursday afternoon, as Taft, Conn., senior Jeffery and junior Thomas Ricciardelli flipped their commitments from Penn to Notre Dame.

Jeffery, a crafty lefty finisher and shooter, broke the Taft single-season program record with 63 goals during the 2019 season and helped lead them to a 10-6 record. He is rated as a four-star and ranked as the No. 34 player in the 2021 class by Inside Lacrosse. He is the eleventh commit in the class for the Irish and second from Taft, joining his linemate Chris Kavanagh who signed with the Irish on the first day of the signing period last month.

A member of the class of 2022, Thomas is an absolute brick wall and has generated a ton of buzz through his first two years of high school ball. As a freshman in 2019, he started and posted a 64% save percentage. He is rated as a five-star by Inside Lacrosse and is the 13th commitment in the Irish’s class. Ricciardelli is the first non-reclassified player to either decommit or flip in the class of 2022.

This spring, the brothers will be looking to help lead a very talented Rhinos squad, which features over 15 DI commits, to a Founders League title.
