Monmouth, Bryant, Drexel Secure Conference Titles and Lock Up NCAA AQs

The Monmouth Hawks are heading back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since their first-ever trip in 2017 after taking down top-seeded Manhattan 14-9 in the MAAC Title game on Saturday afternoon.

Friday Recap: MAAC Semifinals Set

The MAAC Semifinals, which will be played on Wednesday, May 5th, have been set after a typical chaos-filled quarterfinal round on Friday.

In the first quarterfinal contest of the day, the No. 6 seed St. Bonaventure Bonnies continued to make history in their third season as a program, as they upset No. 3 seed Detroit Mercy 11-8 to win their first-ever postseason game in program history.

Friday Recap: Manhattan Tops Monmouth in Double Overtime For Third Straight Win

In a rematch of their season opener, in which they lost 8-5 and didn’t count as a conference game, the Manhattan Jaspers took down the Monmouth Hawks 9-8 in double overtime to move to the top of the MAAC standings with a 3-0 conference record. The Jaspers’ win also snaps a six-game losing streak against the Hawks and hands them their first loss of the season.

What to Watch: NCAA Week Five
